Within 5 miles of the sandy beaches, at Winterton, this select little group of cottages, two of which we offer here, enjoy a peaceful country setting and lovely views. Charming and very well appointed, both properties provide a delightful holiday base. Their location in the heart of Norfolk's Broadland is a paradise for nature lovers and just 2 miles away boats can be hired for fishing or sailing. Nearby attractions include the castle and car collection at Caister on Sea, whilst Great Yarmouth's traditional seaside entertainments are only 7 miles. Sheringham – home to the North Norfolk Steam Railway and Cromer are both within an easy drive as is the medieval city of Norwich. Pub serving food 1 mile, shops 2 miles.

Four bedrooms all ensuite. Open plan sitting/dining room with large well equipped kitchen area and French doors to patio and hot tub. Twin bedded room with ensuite shower room/WC. First floor: Twin bedded room with ensuite bathroom/WC. Two double bedrooms both with ensuite shower room/WC.

This is a fantastic cottage with everything you need and more...the owner was very welcoming and the tea and biscuits were on arrival were lovely. The hot tub was a real bonus!

Ideal location, very friendly, hot tub a real winner. Owners are fantastic and very thorough. We will be booking to go back next year 2011, cant wait. Our group included to grandads, two teenage girls, two 40 yr olds. The cottage was a winner with all of us.

Taking a break in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk is the ideal way to explore this atmospheric and historic county. The coastline is the major attraction here, with miles of sandy beaches stretching from historic King’s Lynn all the way round to Great Yarmouth, famous for its Golden Mile and multitude of seaside attractions and entertainments. Cromer (noted for its crabs and pier), Sheringham and Hunstanton are also firm family favourites. If you prefer something quieter during your stay in one of our holiday cottages in Norfolk, try the North Norfolk Coast, a designated Area of Natural Beauty and a haven for walkers and birdwatchers. Venture inland and you’ll discover a gently rolling landscape dotted with flint cottages and ancient churches.
The county town of Norwich is one of England’s best-preserved cities and is a joy to wander around. Don’t miss a visit to the magnificent cathedral towering above the surrounding medieval streets. East of the city lie the Norfolk Broads, a vast expanse of interconnected lakes and waterways which has long been a firm favourite with sailors. Hire a boat for a day to see them at their best. Less
well-known are the mysterious Brecks, a wilderness area of heaths and forests and one of the least-populated parts of the country.
